Assistant Vice President, Portfolio Management
Responsibilities
In this role, you are responsible for managing internal modelers or scorecard vendors to develop credit scorecards / Basel II models, validating and monitoring their performances. You also need to manage modeling teams to conduct regular models validations, produce and review monitoring reports, analyze validation results and make recommendations to management for any rectification on irregularities. You will manage modeling resources to formulate and recommend appropriate strategic changes to credit and collection policies; revamp the effectiveness of policies from credit analytical perspectives; maintain scorecard / model related policies and manuals; and to allocate appropriate modeling resources to support marketing programs and ensure accuracy and integrity of analysis.
Requirements
Degree holder in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related disciplines
Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in model development in consumer credit portfolio management
Proficiency in using SAS application, SQL, Microsoft Access and Window applications
Good analytical skill to present and interpret relevant tracking and analytical MIS data
A team player with strong supervisory skills to lead / manage teammates to deliver expected results
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to work with people from different business units
Basel II implementation experience is a plus

Compliance Manager
Responsibilities
Enforce the General Compliance Manual of the company and provide assistance and training to staff as necessary
Review the current compliance controls of the company and identify proper actions for improvement if necessary
Perform regular tracking on all outstanding regulatory issues
Advise management on compliance issues and potential impact of regulatory trends and developments
Establish compliance-monitoring programme on the Bank's various activities and undertake investigations into any suspicious transactions reported by both internal and external customers
Raise and maintain compliance awareness among staff by providing them with relevant information, publications and training on compliance matters
Assist in the management, supervision and training of the compliance team
Requirements
Degree in Law, Accounting or related discipline
Minimum 6 years experience in Compliance
Experience in Anti Money Laundering would be an advantage
Good knowledge in banking laws, operations, products and services
Must have excellent communication skills and very self-motivated

Settlement Officer
Responsibilities
Match our in-house trade records against market/broker trade data
Send out trade confirmations to our head office
Print and dispatch contract notes
Download futures reports and reconcile it against our trade files
Generate and dispatch futures files
Help settle cash equity trades, if required
Requirements
A university degree holder in business administration, accounting, computer, law or related subject
2-3 years working experience in equities settlement and/or futures clearing
Experience in equity or futures trade supports is also considered
Good language skills and PC skills
Willing to learn. Can think out of the box

Able to work independently and work in long hours

Responsibilities
Ensure high efficiency of all policy servicing and pre-sales tools for all consultants and clients
Supervise daily operation and ensure smooth operation within the department
Comply with all statutory requirements of the Government, regulatory bodies, principals and internal legal and compliance department
Handle any ad-hoc assignment if required
Requirements
University graduate in Business Studies, Operation Management or related discipline
Minimum 8 years related working experience in Banking or Financial industries with 5 years at supervisory level
Holder of LR license and insurance professional qualification, CFP would be an advantage
Good negotiation and decision making skill
